Like many Canadians, I don’t have much use for guns – however there are a small percentage of us who have guns or firearms in our homes. Maybe you are an antique gun collector, or perhaps you are in the military… whatever your reason, when it comes to moving day you need to look closely at the moving company’s policy for guns and firearms. Basically it states that prohibited firearms (any gun that is not a shotgun or rifle) is not allowed to be packed or transported. In order to safely and legally move your firearm it must be safely stored and locked in an approved container.  Also, The firearm can not be loaded and it’s ammunition can not be stored in the same container.
